(Canada) The Knights of Columbus the world over have been close partners of the Canadian Wheelchair Foundation for many years as part of the Global Wheelchair Mission, one of the Knights’ “Featured Eight” programs. Through their generosity and support we have collectively transformed the lives of countless people and their communities around the globe with the gift of mobility.
In cities across Canada the Knights of Columbus have held their State Conventions over the past month. These annual events bring together Knights and spouses from across their province to share their passion for humanitarian service and celebrate accomplishments over the past year.
A special highlight of each convention is the Awards Ceremony when councils and individual Knights are acknowledged for their outstanding service and dedication. A dinner banquet that often includes an honor guard creates a festive and dignified evening for those in attendance.
This year we were pleased to have the opportunity to recognize and express our gratitude to the following Councils for their generous commitment throughout the year.
