The Canadian Wheelchair Foundation/ Fondation Chaise Roulante Canada (CWF) is an independent Canadian registered charity dedicated to:
- Raising awareness of the needs and abilities of people with physical disabilities
- Delivering mobility into the lives of children, teens and adults in the world who have no means to acquire a wheelchair
- Transforming lives through mobility, and with it giving to all those deprived of it by war, disease, accident, natural disaster and advanced age, independence, dignity, hope and opportunity

CWF Launches Project For Refugees in Turkey to Mark World Refugee Day
Vancouver/Istanbul – The Canadian Wheelchair Foundation (CWF) today announced a project to deliver mobility to Syrian and non-Syrian refugees with physical disabilities. Persons with disabilities are often disproportionately affected by crisis. The Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign to sponsor wheelchairs, canes, crutches and walkers to be sent to Turkey.
Canadian Wheelchair Foundation Holds 2015 AGM
Burnaby, BC: On August 7, 2015 the Canadian Wheelchair Foundation (“CWF”) held its Annual General Meeting in Burnaby, BC at the offices of Loewen Kruse, the accounting firm of record. Nominations for the addition of 2 new board members were presented for consideration at the AGM. Mr. Larry Kustra and Mr. Ron Lewis were elected to the Board of Directors, and their appointments were welcomed by the entire CWF team.
